Just Like That, I am Back

If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an

Stashbusting September - Get Ready

Revised symbolImage via WikipediaHere are the rules of Stashbusting September:
  • During the month of September you will not buy any new crafting supplies (paint, yarn, needles, fabric, glue guns., etc.)
  • You will only use what you have on hand to craft
  • You will take the pledge by linking the name of your blog to the Stashbusting September linky page (coming soon).
  • You will enter one (or more) of your awesome stashbusting September upcycled projects (50% of the project must be from an item that was previously loved, used, and was ready to go in the garbage if it wasn't upcycled by you) in our Stashbusting September Show-offs contest. Items will be judged by our panel of professional bloggers the first week of October the winner receiving a cool prize to be announced later.
  • Each of the projects that you link up to the Stashbusting September linky page will need to include a button noting that it is entered in the contest in order to be considered.
  • Please link up to the Stashbusting September pledge page prior to September 4th to be officially registered as a Stashbuster.
  • You are pledging that you will not buy crafting supplies for your personal use. If you have a crafting business that you need to buy new fabric, etc. for we will let that slide. Just make sure to only use the new products for your business. If you are working on something for your home: It's time to bust your stash.
  • If you run out of glue, think of other things you can use, say a glue gun you haven't  used in years or a different brand of glue that your partner keeps stashed in there workshop. If you absolutely must buy glue or thread because you can not find an alternative and your glue stash has been completely busted I guess I will let you slide on that one.
