Just Like That, I am Back

If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an

Getting Naked A.K.A. Why I Stashbust

It's that time of the year again. Stashbusting September.  **Haven't signed up? Do so HERE because only blogs taking the Stashbusting Pledge are eligable for the prizes**

I absolutely love crafting, but I have a bit of a problem.

You see I LOVE buying crafting supplies. I love shopping for fabric, and I love planning all of these amazing projects in my head, but I rarely get around to actually making everything I set out to make. Then this happens....

It kind of makes me queasy just looking at it. the thing is I haven't even photographed the stacks of semi-sorted thanks to THIS tutorial fabric.

What does your craft room look like? Is this why you are stashbusting? Is it an opportunity to get organized as well?

Lastly what is the one project you hope to get done this Stashbusting September?

I can not wait to hear what you all have to say.

I joined Stashbusting September because my sewing room looks like yours and I like you have more ideas and stuff than I could finish in a lifetime. So I am hoping this will make a dent in it and motivate me to finish some projects.
As well as being a chocoholic, I'm also a fabricoholic. I accumulate fabric at a much faster rate than I can ever hope to use it. I'm hoping Stashbusting September will allow me to use lots of my stash, so I can shop guilt free in October:-) :-) :-)

I'm hoping to:
- repurpose an old hessian (burlap) wallhanging
- make a few bags
- sew a couple of skirts and dresses

I too have issues with fabric and crafting supply purchases! I try and justify it by buying the clearance and mark down items, but my Stacy has grown! My craft room looked like yours, but I was able to organize it at the beginning of the summer. I want to try and knock out lots of projects this month and use up some of my stash!

I love this idea of Stashbusting! My studio was a mess until yesterday when I took the time to organize it-yet again. I just wish it would stay that way.

I just started my first Stashbusting project yesterday and I hope to get many more done by the end of the month.

Thanks for the inspiration and motivating me to do this!
