Just Like That, I am Back

Image
If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an

I LOVE LEGOS!!! My grandma had a big collection at her house and I would make these two story houses with built in interior stair cases. So many fond memories and good times!

We love LEGOS! We even have all my husband's old sets that my MIL kept...I travel around with containers of LEGOS in my car in case we get stuck somewhere...Our favorite set - Hagrid's Hut. :)
Winning tickets and taking my nephew to the event would make me The Greatest Aunt of All Time in his eyes!!!

My favorite set of Legos is the little Star Wars set my husband put i my Christmas stocking after I told him I never had Lego as a kid. I had to play with the neighbor boy's Legos.

I love that LEGO is coming to Cleveland! I always feel bad to Jax because I feel like there are SO MANY fun girl-oriented things out there, and not much boy geared events (although, Legos are just as much for girls.) So I would love for Tom to be able to take him to this for a "boys day out!"

I, myself, am a Lego addict. Not so much when I was a kids, but now that I have kids. Once you start buying Legos, you can't stop. And I am so OCD about keeping them organized so that each set doesn't get mixed in with each other and so that every single teeny tiny piece gets put back in the right place. I even keep the papers that show what pieces go with each set, just in case we have a mix-up!

Of all the sets that we have, I would have to say that the Toy Story set is a favorite, right up there with Winnie the Pooh (Duplo sets).

BTW, I subscribed to your blog, liked your facebook, and am now following your twitter ;)
