Just Like That, I am Back

If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an

I Have High Cholesterol

I like to think of myself as a bit of a health nut.

I work out 4-5 times a week between running, attempting to run, and spinning.

I eat relatively healthy. I mean I indulge, obviously, or else I wouldn't be a slightly overweight SAHB (Stay at home blogger). I just thought that I was in pretty darn good shape. Slightly overweight but healthy.

Here I am going on my merry way when bamm...High Cholesterol. Like 242 high.

I am pretty much in shock because it kills my, but I work out theory.

I guess the 50 pounds my doctor told me to lose really does have to come off. So here I go, losing weight, taking down the evils of cholesterol (no more Lenten Fish Fries for me), and generally taking charge of my health.

My goal, to have cholesterol under 200 by the time I turn 38.

Eek. It's going to be a challenge. But I can do this. Interested in joining me? Comment below.

***Update: I survived my doctors appointment. I am going to take 1000mg of fish oil a day for six months and getting my cholesterol rechecked. My good cholesterol is high and my bad cholesterol is borderline. Put those two together and you get high cholesterol. In the end I think it will all be good, but I will keep you updated.***

I'm turning 30 this year(in May!) and after having a baby and being overweight ever since I can remember... My resolution this year has been to lose 30pounds by my 30th birthday. I'm halfway there and only have 7 more weeks! I really have to step it up! and then I'll have another 20-30 after that to get to my goal weight by Christmas. But I give you props! You can totally do it! How much time do you have? I'd definitely be willing to help hold you accountable:).

I'm trying to lose about 30 pounds (doctor's orders) but have quite low cholesterol. I think it's due to eating 10 olives a day.
