Just Like That, I am Back

If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an

I am excited to introduce everyone to the beautiful and talented newbie blogger Jennifer:

Jennifer from Finding My Way in Texas

1.Tell us a little about you and your blog.

I fell in love with the Blogosphere right before I moved to Texas. I knew that once I got here I wanted to start my own so I could let friends and family back home know what I was up to, and also so I could have an outlet for my creativity. Plus its a great way to meet new people :)

2.How and when did you start crafting?
I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. Most of what I know comes from my Nana. She helped me make Christmas presents for my family every year. I was also homeschooled by my Incredible Mother, right through grade 12 and that afforded me TONS of opportunities to be creative and develop my love of arts and crafts.

3.What made you decide to join Stashbusting September?
Since I've arrived in Texas, I've "collected" quite a bit, plus my Mother-In-Law-To-Be loves to bless me with material, yarn and whatever else she comes across in her travels. I've got more yarn and material that I know what to do with some days and decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to put them to good use. As well as the money I am not spending this month can go towards the future renovations budget :)

4. What one project do you hope to get done during this month?
I really wanted to complete a baby quilt for a friend that I had started back in July and I got it done already :) I've still got some time left, so I am hoping to spice up a hoodie for myself, crochet a bunch of hats for the fall fairs that I am participating in and FINALLY make a jewelry holder.

5.What is your guilty pleasure?
Coffee, long phone calls/video chats with my BFF's back home and "forgetting" to do the dishes.

6. If you were stuck on a desert island what crafting item would you bring with you (or items)
As long as I had a couple crochet hooks I think I could survive... Maybe.
