Just Like That, I am Back

 If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an

I do FB too. I just don't get Twitter. I actually have a recent post that talks about how I had a Twitter account (BEFORE everyone and her brother had one) and didn't get it so I deleted my account...FB is a daily, though...

i don't do either. The blog keeps me very busy and on the computer alot. I don't think I could handle the others even if I wanted to! Let me know how it goes!

I have both but really can't figure out Twitter... I use FB for personal and have a page set-up for my blog. But doing that has limited me because if I "like" something it uses my personal profile instead of the page profile (which is Be Positive Mom). I have FB set-up to link posts to Twitter so when I post to FB it copies over.... Twitter is still a mystery to me!

Hello lovely T-shirt Diary followers!  The Pink Bat Girl is here to rescue you from plain old scrap wood and boredom today with a fun Memorial Day upcycled project!  My block wood is courtesy of an old toddler bed that all of my kids used from Ikea.  The bed has been given away, however, we still had the old wood that went under the mattress.  I thought it would make some really great wood blocks! I took this old wood and my hubby's handy dandy saw and cut them into my desired lengths!.. I love power tools!  So if you would like to make some of these fun decorations here is what you need! Double Run Upcycled T-Shirt

About two months ago I was messaged by an awesome follower telling me about a contest that a named Double Run was having. They challenges five loyal listeners to upcycle a few T-shirts. I am always up for the challenge, but since I take forever to read my email I missed the contest. Well they sent me a T-shirt to work my magic on and I accepted the challenge. REALLY BIG SHIRT I looked at all the upcycles they had in the contest and they didn't have anything for kids. Sure it's not the Wiggles or Fresh Beat Band. I had just purchased the Lil Blue Boo Racerback Tunic Dress Pattern and I gave it a try. Here is what I created:  It actually looks much better on.... Back... And the front.... Playing the Guitar (She reminds me of Brittney Murphy in Clueless)  I am pretty excited at how it turns out, my daughter loved it, and I got to try out a new pattern :) Thanks,
